The link with Argentina led the Cádiz Consortium to sign a collaboration agreement with the Santa Fe Free Trade Zone last year.

The director of Business Promotion and Foreign Trade of the Free Zone, Rocío García-Delgado, accompanied by part of her technical team, held a virtual meeting yesterday afternoon with officials from the Chamber of Exporters of Argentina (CERA), specifically Fernando Landa, president of CERA, and Oscar Fernandez Choco, executive director, very interested in learning about the projects of the Cadiz Institution since Fran González was part of the trade mission to Uruguay and Argentina in June 2023, where profitable projects were carried out. contacts.

This trip to Latin America intensified the close relationship between the Cádiz Free Zone and Argentina and promoted the signing of the collaboration agreement between the Cádiz tax precinct and the Santa Fe Free Zone, which contemplates collaboration and joint work for the promotion of investments, promotion of commercial exchange, information and advice for the benefit of companies installed in both free zones, in addition to promoting joint participation in fairs, business trips and other events, in addition to the creation of a single window for users of both countries.

Yesterday's meeting served to confirm the close and historical connection of the Cádiz fiscal area with Latin America, in addition to presenting to the representatives of the Argentine chamber of exporters the ongoing and future projects and analyzing the ways of sharing synergies and possible collaboration formulas .

Latin American operators have shown great interest in the activity and privileged location of the Cádiz Free Trade Zone with its two strategically located tax precincts and large ports that support them due to their proximity. Likewise, Cádiz officials have explained in detail the high-tech incubator project and the new sustainable industrial model of the Cádiz Free Trade Zone, with the Blue Economy as the main axis.
